Default heat riser
Do I need heads with a heat riser provision on my 86? I would like to buy Bowtie heads but they do not have a heat riser passage. Thanks in advance. Jeffie :smash: :chevy

No you do not need a heat riser provision for a TPI engine. The heat riser is for a choke assembly on carbs. Good luck.

I looked today and found there is porting under the manifold for heat crossover.
