Cooling fan flow rate

Ive done a serch but cant find anything,

does anyone know what the folw rate of the stock radiator fan on the 84 Vette is, in CFM

Its been posted in the recent past. If I remember correctly it is 1500 cfm.

what ever the cfm rating is, you can safely assume it's not engough to keep your car cool. i have an aftermarket derale 16inch fan with a 2800cfm rating with a dewitt dual one inch core radiator, and it still gets to about 210 in the summer with 105 degrees. i will be switching to dual fans next summer.

Thanks for the replys I was thinking of fitting two fans on the rad, one 14" and one 10" as there isnt enough room to put two 14"s , the 10" is rated at 1250 CFM and the 14" at 2000 CFM.
