Default 95 O2 sensor wire break down? need help!

i had to make extensions for my O2 sensors to reach to the new O2 sensor locations. there are 4 wires, a purple, light brown, and 2 dark brown wires, i know i got the purple and light brown wires correct but i am uncertain of the 2 brown wires and may have them crisscrossed as opposed to their original connections. please help as i am not sure they are correct and would like to know if crisss crossing the same colored browns will effect operation? thanks a million all!

chris

icvette,
The brn wire runs from the I/P fuse block
to a junction & branches to feed all 3 oxygen sensors. Thats about all I can come up with for now. Don't know if this is much help.

I'm not sure of your application. Is this one O2 sensor you are relocating, or a harness that does them all?

A typical heated O2 sensor has 4 wires.
Ground (sensor return)
Signal (to ECM)
Switched Battery connection (for heater)
Ground (for heater)

Typically the heater connections have the same color wire. The heater is just a resistor. i.e. No matter which side goes to ground or battery.
