Anybody switched their B&M Ripper to the newly released Hurst unit? Return with impressions.

yes i switched.. very happy with hurst over the b&m.. throw is longer, but overall height is close to same, probably slightly taller, perhaps 1/4" .. no rattle after 2000 miles.. solid piece. won't look back.

Please search the archives for similar topics, many others have previously voiced their satisfaction in changing from the B&M to the Hurst.

The Hurst shifter reduces handle height by 1.25" (about 1/4" higher than B&M, but essentially negligible) and reduces throw distance fore/aft and side-to-side by 30%. The minimal effort level and smoothness is unmatched. It utilizes all factory parts except the stick itself and is as vibration free as stock. It accepts the factory **** or any 9/16"-18 threaded ****.
