I went for a drive tonight, rolled down the window on the driver's side and when I got home it wouldn't go up. I think the motor is getting power because it sounds like it's trying to work when I push "window down". I hear a little static through the radio and the dash dims briefly when I try to put the window up. The passenger side window still working great. Anyone had this problem before?

Silver: When this happened to me I found that I had broken the "ribbon" that controls the up and down motion of the window. I too could hear the motor working so I suspected the "ribbon". Good Luck, Mike :yesnod:

It could also be a grounding problem. Check to make sure all the screws are in place in the panel. They sometimes use the screws to create the ground. 92TripleBlack

put your ear to the door and see if you hear the motor turning....mine did the same thing...it turned out the window ribbon broke...$24.95 at MAD and a couple hours labor...will need sand paper or dremil in case there is rust on track..and white lith grease....That is if it is your belt broken...if not nevermind.
