Going to be installing the Hyperflex kit in a couple of weeks . Just doing the homework. I've got the manuals , so just checking to see if anyone here has any tips, links, tool recommendations etc. to make it go smoothly. Thanks.

Good size bench vise (5"), assortment of larger sockets, torch (maybe), torque wrench. Get some extra lube for the bushings too. I olny needed the torch fro the lower A-arms in front.

I broke a huge Craftsman vise doing this job on my Trans AM. I have since purchased a press and I'm sure it will make life a lot easier when doing it on the Vette.

Just did the front LCA bushings on my 93. Removing the stock rubber bushings is not fun. I used a big bench vice, a deep socket and a bolt to press out the steel sleeves. I then used a large socket and and 2-1/2" pipe coupling to remove the rubber bushings. Measure the width of the bushings installed and the sleeve lengths with a micrometer. Then measure the width of the stock steel sleeves and the actual width of the frame mounts. You'll find the new steel sleeves are probably wider than the opening. The sleeves should be .010" wider than the bushings.
You can open the frame mounts slightly with a bolt and nut. If the opening is still not right you can grind down the steel spacer with a grinding disk.

Like I said, it aint easy.

Just make sure you lube all of the bushing up well with a good marine grade grease so you avoid the squekky sound. Marine grade will stay put during driving and last a good long time. I made the mistake of not using enough and I had the joy of a creaky suspension until I tore it apart for a second time.
