Default Aluminium or iron heads


A friend of mine told me that Corvette 91 came with both aluminium and iron heads. Is that true? I thought that all Vette's after 1988 had the aluminium heads? What do I have?

You should have aluminum. It was the 85 and early 86 with iron, and late 86 started the aluminum.

Yep, early 86 was the last year for iron heads. Late 86 and up have aluminium.
