At the risk of sounding like a complete idiot - a risk I've taken many times before - is there a diagram, or better yet a picture, of the front and rear jack points on a 94 C4?
I know what it says in the owners manual, but I've been advised - perhaps incorrectly - that these points are not correct. I realize I could just use the frame, but is one spot better than another? I need to put the car up on stands - the front anyway - to work under it and would hate to put the jack through the floor panel or something equally stupid.
Sorry don't have a picture, but I always you the jack points to jack the car up. then I put my jack stands. I put the front one just behind the front wheel well where the frame goes curves up. The bottom screw for the plastic wheel well piece screws into the frame. I put the stand right next to the plastic edge of the wheel well.
The rear, I put the jack stand just before the wheel well, right next to where my X-brase bolts to the frame.
