RPM question ------------------------->
Do RPM's refer to the number of times the crank rotates in a minute or the number of times any one spark plug fires in a minute ???
If it's the crank then at 2000 RPM's each plug would be firing only 1000 times per minute
while if is the spark count then at 2000 RPM's the crank would actually be turning 4000 RPM's
Which one is right ?????

RPM = Revolutions per minute
Generally refers to the crankshaft.
GM 350 cam truns at 1/2 the speed as the crank. Distributor turns at the same speed as the camshaft.
