.bin help LTx/Single plane EFI
can you help me with some .bin files?
as some of you know, i built a 396 with AFR210cc heads, single plane EFI, 234/238 .565lift 112LSA cam, 1.6RR
my idle is good, 3000 up to full throttle is fine and powerful..
my problem is driveability with low rpm cruise...2000rpm around, and some hickups when i take off...
so, i would think, a LTx Intake, would come close to an single plane...
my question now, can some of you give me suggestions what to do?
i played with the AE tables, it have got better, but i think, theres still some drivebility left..
maybe someone can send me a .bin file of such a modified engine...
thank you

From what it sounds like (and based on the cam), you've got a bit of cam surge happening. I was able to tune most of it out with more timing, but also needed a little more fuel because the increase in timing caused it to run a little leaner.
The "hiccups" when you take off sound like a momentary lean condition. You mentioned you had adjusted the AE tables - with a single plane, you may need to adjust them quite a bit more. I know the mini ram needed a lot more than what I thought was a good percentage. What does your O2 sensor do when you blip the throttle? If it is dropping very low, you'll need more AE.
Hope that helps a little -
Dan
