Door Window Alignment On 1984 Coupe
I removed the outer, rubber molding on my 84 coupe for it to be painted. To get it installed properly, I had to loosen the window alignment bolts so that the window would drop down, and in, far enough for me to install screws into the molding in order to hold it tight against the door.
Now I am having trouble getting the window realigned. I have tried adjusting the track at the top, the stops, and the bolts that actually hold the window in place. There are three of those. I just cannot get it so the window closes properly against the rubber moldings around the door, top, and windshield.
Anybody have any suggestions or do I just have to keep trying different adjustments? Any ideas?
