Possible future mods
Eventually one day I will want to boost performance... So this post is for my knowledge and to help anyone else thinking about it.
I have a 1988 convertible.
What rear gear is best to have with the 700r4?
What can I do if I one day need to rebuild the motor? leaving it the stock bore and stroke. No heavy mods but enough to have fun with over stock. Please include companies and part numbers (I will save the info given to this post, for a rainy day)
Also, On dream car garage awhile ago they did a C4 build up.... anyone know what they did to the suspension? I heard them say "... the C4 from the factory likes to spin (wheels) but with the new suspension upgrade it really hooks up well"... That was interesting also, anyone have any thoughts as to a possible suspension upgrade?
Car is currently a daily driver and IF that day comes when i need to redo the car I'd like for it to be an all around performer (over factory).

Dont pay attention to Dream Car Garage's C4 build, they wasted alot of money on that car for very little.
The gear needs to be picked based on engine combo, with consideration given to the amount of mileage the car sees. 700 has a good first gear, so alot of rear gear is not required for a good launch kick, but the engine may need more gear if it has a higher spinning motor. Then you run into the problem of running too high a RPM for hwy cruising.
