Im not certain if it goes back that far mate, i thought 86 was the cut-off point. If that is the case you may have to step up your ECM to a later model

Yes there is a file available. For the xdf file go here:

http://www.moates.net/fileman/index....neral%20Motors

You are looking for 1F.xdf file. For the .bin file go here:

http://www.moates.net/fileman/index....ECM%20Binaries

You are looking for the 1226870 directory that is there.

For the .ads file you go here:

http://www.moates.net/fileman/index....%20Definitions

You are looking for the 1226870_160 baud file.

Download them all to a directory of your choosing. Make sure that the files are downloaded in their original format and not as .txt files. If you can't download without it opening up as a text file right click the file and save as the filename that it lists but without the .txt file extension. Pretty easy really and works like a champ. Tunerpro is excellent for scanning but don't forget about Winaldl by Joby. Both should be used to get a good scan and you can learn quite a bit about the running condition of your vehicle. For more info check out Craig Moates sight for files and downloads at www.moates.net. For info on what everything means checkout www.thirdgen.org at the DIY-Prom section. These guys are GOD at tuning and you will learn ALOT! Good luck!

PS: In order for the cable to work that you have as I'm assuming that it's not the USB cable that Craig Moates sells than you'll have to play with the advance settings of setup in Tunerpro to get that cable to work.

Ugg. Throw that ecm in the garbage and repin to a 165 or better yet a '730.. The '730 fits nicely up in the dash too, leaving room for the ostrich, with only the USB cable exposed for realtime tuning
