Hood stuck again, this time passenger's side, HELP!
We got the hood open and changed the cable. We tested the new cable and it appeared to work fine so Joe closed the hood and pulled the release to test it. Yay! the drivers side opened, but guess what, the passenger's side is STUCK now! Please advise how to get it open, Joe seems to think he'll have to drill a hole in that weld, but I know Sonic told me the passenger's side can be opened with the tool but it's harder. I've emailed him, but does anyone else have any advise? Joe also thinks he might be able to take the wheel well apart and get in there that way. I say the tool SHOULD work!
Thanks!!

Get the hood tool from MAD. My hood stuck when the car was delivered to me; it took too trys since I'd never seen the latch mechanism, but it works.
BTW, when I park my Vette on a slope somethies the hood is difficult to release. You might use this to your advantage by jacking each corner a little and trying it (use that body flex).
Once open, adjust the latch and check the rubber bumper for too much tension.

When he put the new cable on, the end of the passenger's side one slipped out of the latch. We had the tool but it really wasn't doing the the job, so he just took the wheel well apart and we opened it that way, by pushing the latch, much like with the tool but from the opposite side.
Thanks to those who helped, we got it open.
