Ray Quayle - That is the best info I have yet to see. I appreciate you taking the time to read all my original concerns and what I had already done and then offering your suggestions. This sounds EXACTLY what I need to do now ( this weekend's project, I can't wait).
Thank you for the long reply, It REALLY helped me understand this more clearly that I did before! Searching the forum for help on this turned up nothing that helped me understand this situation as you have put it. It was much appreciated. I know how to wire things pretty well, but I don't understand all the technical terms, and you explained it simply and clearly so I could understand it
I was wondering why the ECM de-programming didnt fix it, and wasn't sure where to go form there, now it is perfectly clear what each "fix" does and I am back on track again!
