Are you sure? On 1992-1995 LT1 Vettes, (OBD I) Code 41 is No ignition control circuit.

Code 43 is knock sensor wiring is open or shorted.

To remedy Code 43, you just disconnect the battery, unbolt the heat shield that surrounds each knock sensor, remove the plastic connector by gently squeezing it, then spray the sensor with a shot of electrial contact cleaner to remove any oil, grease or grime that might be preventing a good connection.

Also, inspect the wiring that leads to each sensor to ensure they're not chaffed, touching other components, or otherwise shorted.

Re-connect the knock sensors, bolt the heat shields back in place, re-connect the battery, start the engine and confirm the Service Engine Soon does not appear on your DIC.

That does the trick 90 percent of the time. If it doesn't, you will need a knock sensor test tool and a digital voltmeter to determine if one (or both) of your knock sensors are faulty.

Here are the ECM codes if you don't have a FSM yet.
