Generally, you're in the ballpark. Esp. with a near-empty tank and a few pieces missing...

Sounds 'bout right to me too.
That corner weighting really reveals where the weight is!
I'm planning on doing that to mine eventually. Would like to have a better F/R balance ratio.
Are you planning on any re-distribution of weight somehow?

My black book lists the weight of a 94 coupe at 3309 so you are very close.

This brings the total to 3290 . Seems a bit low to me. Can that possibly be correct?
That's pretty close to the published curb weight. Why does it seem low?

Just noticed this:

~1/8th tank of gas
Curb weight is with full tank of gas, so actually it looks like your car is a porker...

This is the one slightly surprising thing. That's a big difference in weight. You got a double-size battery in there?

Weight
Sounds extremely close. I am guessing you took off close to 80 lbs in parts plus you have very little fuel in the car.

I agree. My 96 LT4 with subs, a full tank, headers, exhaust, lightweight flywheel, and chrome GS rims and a bunch of random junk in the car came in at 3360.

I thought they were closer to 3400-3500. Didn't realize 3250-3300 would be in the norm.
I'll weigh the radiator/shroud/fan assembly and add that to the front weight to get a more accurate weight.
Today I have removed all of the A/C stuff, the complete exhaust, and a few other odds and ends. Bet it's a good bit lighter now.

I weighted mine this summer on some scales accurate to within 10 lbs. I've done some lightening and had about 1/8th of a tank. Weight was 3140.

Battery, A/C compressor, and alt are all on the drivers side. Makes me wonder why the engineers didn't reverse it to help balance out the driver.

Believe it or not
, I just weighed a radiator, shroud, condensor, fans, and calculated water weight (for radiator and hoses only - 8lbs of water) last week ... Total: 46 lbs.

It looks like relocating the battery would be fairly effective to help balance the front left and the back right.
I just installed an Optima redtop in my passenger side storage compartment. I think it weight about 35 lbs. I did add a few pounds of 2 gauge wire though. It was really easy. Just one wire to the starter and a ground to chassis. I can switch the battery back in just a few minutes b/c I got the Optima w/ side mounts and top posts. I just left the factory cable where they were with some tape on the positive.
F.Y.I.--My car weighs 3330 with me in it.
