Curious of the increase in Hp going to the electric pump. Last year my best time and MPH was 11.19@124.7-1.66/60' in pretty good weather. No mater what I could not break 125mph.
I had to redo my engine after a failier in the spring and the only addition was the pump. All else was the same. Yesterday at E-Town in decent weather I had a best run of 11.32@127.5-1.75/60' and 2 high 125 with so-so 60'.
I was sceptical of using the pump but in the summer with almost 100 deg outside temps the car runs 175-185 with the air on. I'm a beliver in them now! So what do you think I gained from it? Maybe 10's will happen once it gets cooler.

It makes sense that it would benefit your MPH. Since it turns at the same speed all of the time, the engine is not having to turn a mechanical pump continually faster at higher RPMs. The faster you twist it, the more the lack of this parasitic drag benefits you. Also you've eliminated the cavitation that occurs under these conditions. There are really no down sides to a good EWP.
