OK right front is now out on my 94, and I need to replace the pair. What do you guys recommend? I'll need to do it tomorrow- (around here they ticket you for having a lite out). I put H4's on the Porsche and liked em, but I don't even know where to look for an upgrade like that for the vette. Anything decent as an upgrade at Pep Boys, Autozone, Advanced, O Reiley,Walmart even? Other suggestions? Thanks as always- John
Dont laugh (too loud) I bought some "cool blue " head lights from Kragens of all places and love them. $35 for the pair... NO they are not blue in color !lol :flag :flag :flag :flag
Whoa- $130. Well, I wonder- did you have to swap the fuse, since they pull more power, or could you leave the current fuse ratings in place? I doubt they have these anywhere local.... :( - I won't be able to drive at night without changing the bulbs. Maybe I'll just hafta buy something to get me through until I can pick something else up.

Complete plug-n-play, no fuse changing. They actually draw the same (if not less) power. The Xenon gas inside the bulbs is where you get the higher wattage rating. It uses the same power as the standard bulbs, but hte light it puts out is the equivalent of 90W/130W. They RULE.....
I have Sylvania 6024CB which are much better than regular halogen. You should be able to get the Xenon HID version this month. The Sylvania PN is 6024X. They are 839 retail. The 6024CB are about 17 bucks each.

Well, I swapped headlights this sunday- I went ahead and just got something inexpensive until I can get something better, but even that was a HUGE improvement. The bulbs I pulled out were Wagners, with a plastic housing, very dim, and the lenses were cloudy and cracked. I gave in and just threw the GE halogens in (Supposedly 80% brighter), they were only $17 for the pair at Walmart- who were cheaper than ALL other retail stores.
What an improvement, at least I can see now. I'll check into the HID's and the Hellas. Like I said earlier, I put H4's in my 944, and they make a HUGE difference, I'd like to have similar if not better results from an upgrade in the vette. Take care- John
