Default 1991 running problem

I have a friend that i am trying to help him with his 1991 vette. when the car warms up the motor starts to miss and light dim. No codes or check engine lights, and i checked the fuel pressure and all the individual injecters and plugs (they are brand new but I checked them out anyway). Could this be a EGR problem?
a little help would help and thanks in advance.

You say lights dim? check your voltages and then make sure your altenator is working properly. Mine just went bad 3 weeks ago was running off batt until I replaced it. everything working AOK for now.

Have the ignition module check at Autozone.

It almost sounds like a bad ground too. These cars do some funky stuff when a ground is bad. Do a quick inspection of all the grounds. I had the same type of problem and chased it to a corroded ground

Good Luck!

checked grounds/ no rust or corrosion/ checked voltage all OK

could a EGR valve be a problem because it happens only after the car warms up?

If it gets stuck in the open position it can result in a rough idle. Usually you'll get Code 32 for EGR problems, though. I did when mine went ****-up.

A problem like this can have so many causes and buying and installing the parts is not the best method to address your problem. Find someone with a scan tool, buy them a beer and ask for their help. If you lived close to me.....it would be a done deal

I don't suggest replacing the O2 sensor. Just maybe another item to check. As suggested a scan tool will help lots.
