Default help with exhaust manifold removal......

I have a 92 coupe LT1....I'm trying to take the exhaust manifolds off the car but I can't break loose the air injection pipe on the top of the manifold, I've sprayed it with wd40 and let it sit overnight....I can't get that dang thing loose!!!! any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...I'm about ready to cut the dang thing off.

Try PBBlaster overnite, then torch (heat) the bolts, should break loose then.

PB Blaster is much better than WD40 for this type of work!

this is a problem... the metals, thanks to the heat, become one with each other.

This was so bad on my 92, that when I replaced the EGR tube, I had to grind the bottom half of the threads off to make it fit!!!!

it might be easier to remove the EGR pipe from the car and take them out as one piece.
