sys flashing...code?
Hey fellas i have a 95 lt1 6 speed with about 81,000 miles...i went to take it out for a blast today and i noticed sys flashing every 20 seconds 3 times and then goes back to displaying the mileage. i had the car 4 years and never had any trouble, never seen a code before. I noticed the last 2 times that i started the car the battery sounds like its on the way out..Just want to know what code means...thanks fellas

9 times out of 10 it's a battery going bad, the other time it's usually something related to electrical stuff like if you put a new stereo in or something like that.

Check the voltage reading at the battery. Insert a paper clip in terminal 4 and 12 on the ALDL and turn the key "on". This will display codes where the SYS light flashes. Jot the codes down and post them here for help.
