Car does not want to shift outa first?
I have done no work to it. I have not removed any vacume lines.
O I did leave her outside one night and then this. I know the cars is mad that I left him out all night. What do you think the problem is.

Does 91 have the 700R4?
If it does, try this, with the engine off, pump the gas pedal up and down vigorously. Then try and see what happens.

How much hydraulic fluid/oil do you have in the transmission?
If the fluid level is good, I have two guesses; your oil pump died or your valve body is sticking(stuck).
When is the last time you changed the fluid?

Ok get this I go home tonight after driving the back up car to work. :cry
I warm up the car for about 5 minutes and then get in and drive, this time the car shifts but still seems like it dies not want to shift. the fluid levels are good and I just had them all changed about a month ago :confused:

Don't wait around for a big problem. Take the car to a recommended transmission shop. It sounds like a sticking valve. If you don't know of a good shop, call the BBB and find one. A transmission rebuild costs around $1600 so I would not mess with it.
