I searched for info but still have questions.
I want to replace my headlights but can't figure out how to get to the screws that hold the bezel on.
I read that I need to stop the headlight. Do I just stop it with my hands?
I want to be sure I'm doing this right because I'm prone to breaking stuff.
Thanks.

its easier to just turn the **** beside them untill it is in the right position
Thanks for the tip.
hope I don't need to replace them again soon.
I don't know how old the bulbs are that I took out. They came with the car when I bought it 2.5 years ago.
OK guys, I need to replace a headlight and you got me all excited when I found this series of posts, but when I got to the end, I realized my question wasn't answered. You guys were able to figure it out, but I guess I am brain dead. I assume the "*****" you are talking about are the ones that spin on the headlight motor assembly when the headlights are activated from the dash. Do I turn them clockwise or counter clockwise? Also, looking at the headlight from the front, surrounding the headlight itself, I see four screws-two on the bottom that are deeper set and one on the top and one on the side that are shallower. Which are for bulb removal and which are for beam angling? I also assume that I do not have to disconnect the battery to do this. This is for a 91. Suddenly the fixed lenses of the C6 are very appealing. Any and all instructions will be appreciated.

On the dash, turn/pull the headlight switch to "ON". As the lights begin to rotate to the open position, quickly turn/push the headlight switch to the "Parking Light Position". The lights should stop rotating and remain partially open.
You should now be able access the the screws to remove the cover.
The aiming adjustments are made from the front with the headights open/"ON" using the two recessed screws; one on the top and one on the side.
Thanks to your help, I did it. Using the dash control, I manipulated the headlights into a half opened positon so that I could access the two screws on the sides of the headlamp cover. I then opened the hood and unscrewed the two remaining screws on the bottom of the cover. After removing the cover, I was now able to see and remove three of the four screws holding the flange around the headlight itself. The fourth screw wouldn't budge, but it was in a postion that still allowed me to raise up the flange and slide out the bulb. It was easy once I realized I had to remove the headlight cover first.
