Well, I've had my car down for a couple of weeks, trying to get the twisted half-shaft and broken axle fixed...finally got that done, and wanted to start her up...but she just won't start!! She tries, but just won't catch...she was running when I put her up on jackstands...any way, fuel pressure at the rail is 38#...spark to all plugs, plugs are new...tps is dead on at .54...battery is fully charged....just cranks, and cranks, and cranks, but no start. It wants to catch every now and then, but doesn't. Timing, as far as I can tell, is dead on...hard to check when it's not running, but when I'm cranking it, it looks to be dead on. I've gone thru the FSM, and everything it says to check, checks out ok...I don't think it could be the module, because every wire gets plenty of spark, but I'm just about out of options...any thoughts would be greatly appreciated....
For the life of me I cannot understand why posters leave off the year vette they are asking help for, like we sit up late at night dreaming of their vette.
Have someone crank it while you ogle the timing mark with your timing light, what is so hard about that? Get a noid light (at parts store), or use a low power 12v lamp like a side marker lamp across an injector plug and crank the engine. The light should pulse showing that the ECM is pulsing the injector.

Year is in my sig, if you took the time to read.......checked the injectors with a noid...all are getting pulse...checked the timing while it was cranking, looked dead on...thanx for your reply, but you should look before you open your mouth, instead of staying up at night
I looked at your signature to find out what year vette you have, but no one should have to do that, you can easily type two numbers can't you?
See if your fuel pressure falls rapidly after you turn the ignition off, a leaky injector/s can make it too rich to start. Also, using a grounded wire held to an unplugged plug wire, you should have a spark that is easily 1/2 inch and makes a bright spark with loud snap. Weak spark will prevent starting. Engine cold, you can remove a few spark plugs and see if they are wet with gas, another sign that you have a leaky injector.
