Re: Something is wrong with this, WAY too cheap. (jimbjr)
:yesnod: Absolutely.... it must be on the virge of self-destruction or something. The LPE 383 runs around 11.6, that 175 shot is the killer to get to 10.4.
Re: Something is wrong with this, WAY too cheap. (jimbjr)
Not many people want a car that does 10.4's because people think the car has been abused to get there. I wouldn't buy a car that was modified because you know the owner drove fast and hard. That car is beyond modified. But a good price none the less.

That's a hell of a deal. I'd be talking to that guy right now if I had the cash. Who cares if its been beat. It'd still be a good deal after a rebuild.
Re: Something is wrong with this, WAY too cheap. (black bart)
yeah, what black bart said.. ha ha.. like you can beat on a car any more carefully than the previous owner! i'd much rather buy a well tuned race car than a garage queen.. i bet it's in better shape mechanically..

OK- I called the owner, (Free long distance here in TX with my cell phone) and apparently there is a mis-print in the ad. He DOES want $11,000 for it, but it's actually an 85 with a 96 conversion body kit with recent paint. He said it is a Lingenfelter, and he's not happy with the listing because of the misspellings and etc., and encouraged me to post this info here. You H-town guys outa go check it out....
