Default Halo Panels

I have a broken bolt hole on my RH halo panel for my 90 Zr1. So, I went and got a replacement, it came out of a 96. From what I've seen it looks like 84-96 are interchangeable, but now that I have the piece, it says 91-96 are different. Is this so? I can see that the hole for the seat belt is in a different spot, but can I move the seat belt down a little? I don't want to tear the car apart just to get even more irritated. Any info would help.

Some time during the 90 model year, the pillar bolt position for the seat belt was changed.

84-early 90 halo panels and late 90-96 panels.

If you look at the back side of the late model halo panels (the ones you purchased) it should show the outline of where the old bolt holes for the 84-early 90 model would have been drilled.

Yeah, on the back it says 84-90 drill here and 91-96 drill there. "There" is where it got drilled. I guess I have an extra part now.
