heater not hot at all settings
95 C4 with climate control.
I get good air and heat from the floor and vent settings. The mix door works normally. On any setting that causes the AC compressor to come on the air blows cold. IE Auto, Defrost, Upper and lower, recirc.
I checked the blend door by removing the resister from the top of the heater in the engine compartment and it full opens at 90deg on all dash controll settings and full closes when it should. but the actual temp coming out of the vents is cold.
The heater input hose is very hot and the return is warm. I am thinking i have a restriction in the heater lines or core that allows the heater to work some but when the AC comes on the heater will not warm up the cold coming from the AC core.
grasping at straws.
i have new 190 deg thermostat, flushed system, new anti freeze mixture, new waterpump. new headache.
