I have now 355 L98 with ATI Blower but im gonna go stroker this winter. Who sell stroker kits and what should I go for when im gonna go with blower? I have now 30 lbs/hrs injectors, can I use them with 383? Also need pictures of custom headers 1 7/8". Anyone who has 1 7/8" headers?
I have now 3.73 gears but i will go higher. Wha is the the highest gears for Dana 44?? 4.11 or??

So, you have finally taken the decision?! Speed-O-Motive has relatively good prices on stroker kits. Or you can give Motortech in Västerås a call. I will email you their telephone number.

I think a lot of speed shops sell stroker kits but you will have to get pistons that are made for blower engines and not just a N/A engine you will have to get some that have lot of meet at the top and some that will make your compression low because if you have a lot of boost then you cant have a engine that has a lot of compression (more boost less pompression) and I would get a kit with good strong rods and a steel crank.

Contact Chris at http://www.speeddemonmotorsports.com The website address maybe wrong. He will post pretty soon I suspect. How do you get this stuff into Finland and how much is the duty and shipping ?

You have an L98 and are running 3.73's? this is a no-no. Our motors don't spin up like an LT-1 and don't need a lot of gear. Especially since you're running a blower..which will add more torque, requiring less gear.
A stroked/blown combo should be wicked! Not too sure about reliability..but it'll be fun while it lasts.

Forged Piston & Rods. If you have the money a Forged crank. I would try to keep the compression around 9.5:1. You could go with a low compression but it hard to take advantage of it with higher boost on a L98 supercharger because of belt slippage. With a Supercharger you want to a little lower gears (ie less than 3.73) to help build boost.

Scroggin-Dickey Chevrolet in Lubbock advertises their Pro-Series stroker kit with all new Lunati forged crank, Lunati forged rods, JE forged pistons, rings, and balanced for about $2400. Or you can have build it into a complete short block thats blueprinted for $4300. You may want to check them out.
If that's too rich, look at the forged Scat kit.
Many of the cheaper kits use a nodular crank, used rods, and hyperutectic pistons which are good but not as strong as a fully forged assembly. Also, its important to look at whether your block need a 1 piece or 2 piece oil seal as that affects the crank you buy.
I have been looking at a 383 short block for my LT4 and to me its worth the money and hassle to have a pro build the short block with all forged pieces with some type of guarantee.
