Have had my '96 auto (2.59) up to an "indicated via my speedometer" of 162mph on 3 occasions. Was really paying attention to the road so I can't give ya rpm's. I believe it would have pulled higher on the "speedo" but I ran outta road. So I can't say it stabilized at the indicated speed.
From the feel of the car, I don't believe it would have gone much faster. Takes a lot of road to pull speeds after 140mph...
*Note* I've got the 285/40 - 17's on the rear

mine hit a wall of no more MPH at 150. ive got: 1988 L98 3.07 auto. that was stock, i bet i can get a several more mph now if i tried due to top end breathing mods.

You don't have enough information to even make a guess at top speed since gearing is only one factor in determining top speed. :crazy:
