Default Help! SERVICE ENGINE SOON?

About a month ago I was getting a service engine light so I sent the car to the dealership for some regular maintenance and to check out that light. They sent the car back telling me I had a bad Mass air flow sensor power/burnoff relays. I replaced those parts with new ones from Mid AM. Now the car runs great I am very happy with the performance, but my SES light won't go out, I had the battery disconnected while I replaced the parts so all codes should be ereased but it still flashes. When I use a paper clip to jump the to appropriate cavities in the ALDL, The only thing I get is a code twelve which I know is just telling me it's the beginning and end of the code sequence. So if I'm running great and not storing codes why does my SES light come on every time I drive the car?

rbvette1,

I checked the Helm and it states that a steady on light could be a short to ground in the light control CKT 41(brn/wht), or an open in diagnostic CKT 451(white/black). HTH.
