Default Will 90-91 TB, and Plenum Work???

Hello, I was wondering if a 1990-91 Throttlebody, and Plenum off L-98, would work on my 88 L-98 coupe?

Thanks in advance, Tom

Well, it wont have provisions for the cold start injector because they deleted in in '89, and since 90 and 91 cars were speed density I doubt they have the mat sensor under the upper plenum like the earlier maf cars do either. Whoops, I saw you just said plenum. I guess if you use the runners of your 88 the cold start should work...

I'm not sure about the MAT sensor part of it. But isn't the cold start injector in the base? Wait, it does have a small air pipe that runs to the plenum. So would the plenum have to have two small holes on each side, one for the EGR on the pass. side, and one for the Cold Air Injector on the drivers side? I guess another question I would have is, what years did the cold air injectors come on? Thanks

Did a little more research on it. The MAT/IAT is on both SD and MAF cars. Not 100% certain it is mounted under the plenum on SD cars but I would assume so. It is the MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor that the SD cars have mounted on the rear of the plenum that the MAF cars dont have.
