The HP numbers seem off of course, but the seller has darn good feedback. 805 feedback in the last four years with a 99.6 approval rating. I sell a lot of things on ebay and in order to keep your rating in the 99% you gotta not mess up at all and then have brilliant luck to boot.....because 1% of the people will compain even if you ship exactly what you advertise, because shipping was slightly delayed, or a part was damaged in shipping, or you didn't e-mail them back the very hour they purchased their item or asked a question. I've got a 99.2% rating and I shouldn't have the two negatives I have in my opinion......I've got like a 240ish feedback level.
So, Maybe he just doesn't know about the TPI intake but knows about his shortblock 383???
That price is half what I just paid for my 383 and I kept getting told by everyone I found a stellar price. So the buying for parts thing sounds good and then perhaps just replacing the intake on your own...
looks spray painted not powder coated, 510hp not even at the fly wheel.
It's powder coat, and a pretty good job of it also. They went to the trouble of gutting the alternator to do both halves. It is pretty amazing the colors that they have in that industry, although that is a God awful ugly one they used......
