I've been checking out swap meets for years trying to find some manual tracks for mine, but all I ever see are the power tracks. What's the secret to finding some, or does anyone know if Corvettes share the same manual tracks with some lesser expensive cars I can find in a junk yard?

thanks,
Mike

Default carbon fiber

Even with the correct reinforcements and latch plates in the hood there is an approximate 48% weight reduction switching from stock smc to carbon fiber. With that said im seriously considering doing the entire front clip.

I wouldn't worry about safety when replacing the stocker hood. I doubt the hood would help slow any impact anyway. Just my $.02.

There's 2 shorty pistons actually.......and they DO make the difference. I've been operating with one for years since they're so expensive. I found one on e-bay and now the hood opens with even less effort.
