I would be interested as well, do these come with the mounting bolts and are they original GM? Also what condition are they in? I know what they used to sell for, but this price isn't that far out of line with the last two to sell on Ebay and they don't come on there very often.
How soon would you be shipping them out to those who wanted to buy?

These are brand new GM. I'm looking at getting one as well, but I have to buy all 8. So far I have three on the list. They do not come with bolts. But those are easier to come by.
I doubt it's going to help a whole lot, since it is so low. Having a full tank of gas would help the most? I took my spare out when I first got the car. You could have one of those fabbed and welded in. The spare couldn't have helped to much anyways, the tray is plastic! Maybe it's there so the gas tank doesn't fall out!
The spare itself supposedly acts as a type of "buffer" in event of being rear ended. I don't care about that in itself but I am pretty sure that the brace is a bit lighter than the combination of spare tire, carrier and jack. Maybe somebody who has weighed the brace can give insight on it. The main advantage to the brace versus the spare from what I've read was testimony from people who bought this and installed it claiming it contributed to stiffening the chassis somewhat.
It is many poundes lighter than the spare and holder. I ordered one up six years ago to put in our 90 for autoX. I have since taken it out and it hardley weighs anything, maybe 6lbs. It is no longer required in Street prepared class and that is why I removed it. They had already been discontinued in 2000 when I ordered it. Get em while there HOT!
