I installed a true dual 2 1/4 system from corvette central on my 90 vette, as it did not come with CATS, i took it to Twisted Pipes in Ringwood, il. (815)653-3300 They put on 2 hi-flow cats, and welded my SS mufflers to the system so there wouldn't be clamps, and painted the back half of the exhaust up to the SS mufflers with Hi-temp Cerm paint for around $300.00(including CATS). Sounds great....he also stated that he could get an X-pipe(name brand) for $80 plus 1 our labor. This Guy does great work cheap.....he even cleared a few codes off my car for free.....

Damn i just ordered today part #324445 just true duals (mufflers not included). I do have Hooker 2149 headers i need to cut front pipes to fit on it, they said thier TD no longer have H pipe but now onwards will have X pipe (crossover exactly she said).
I will not install Cats at this time but later yes, this will be installed along with Muff Elims. I could not wait.
any pic's or video clip of sound my friend. Is ur came with H pipe or crossover, what part # u bought from them ?

Hey, I'm in Crystal Lake also. I'll keep that place in mind. I've also heard good things about the Valazquez and Sons chain. I haven't done it yet, but they quoted me $140 for muff elim and stainless tips. As for the x-pipe, that was $60 but I had to get the x-pipe. I stopped in Roselle, but just did a search and one comes up in Elgin. I got them from someone who has had race cars done there and someone else who is very particular about his car. (Not a Vette) How would I know you if I see you around town? Also if you need help with anything, check out Rons Service in town. They are excellent. If it isn't something that I will do, I always have them do it.
