16" tires
Was hoping I would be able to find a replacement tire (BF Goodrich Comp T/A 255/50R16 VR4 (or even a ZR) this week so I could enter the Corvette Challenge tomorrow at Raceway Park. Looks like I didn't make it. Seems there are NO appropriately sized BFG Comp T/A's anywhere to be found (new or used)! Looks like even the ZR is being discontinued (VR4 had been for some time).
Am now contemplating replacing all 4 (one has only a few thousand miles and 2 more are still reasonably good) with Kumhos. Unfortunately I don't know where to find Kumhos in NJ. Yes, I could get them thru TireRack, but not tomorrow! I'm into immediate gratification.
Anyone know where I can get a Comp T/A or set of Kumhos tomorrow?
A local tire dealer recommended Generals but I thought the tread pattern looked like that of a "cheap" tire. Anyone?????????
