Hello. What do you think about procharger intercooler location in C4 ?It looks abnormal.
I dont understand how airflow is going through the intercooler?May be somebody has another location of intercooler on C4 ?
It works because the entry is in a high pressure area as the car is moving. Air hits the dam below the radiator/intercooler entry and is forced up into that cavity. It has to go across the radiator and intercooler. The Procharger unit is limited in flow capacity, but it does work when the car is moving.
The TT APS G35 kit uses two Puller fans on the intercooler. It works pretty darn well at idle, though you need to have a switch to shut them off above 50 mph as the air flows faster than the fans can pull it through.
I was thinking of where I could mount an air to water unit all week and came to the conclusion that there just isn't room for one on my car with all the coolers and the ac unit. I was thinking of using a spearco 2-2031 which measures roughly 16/16/4.5".
Greg, has a bladder that lays where the original air filter would mount, It holds like 2.5 gallons... Works great too!
Alx, I'm not sure if Procharger mentions but you would want to cut a hole in the shroud below the intercooler. If you are considering buying one... I've been there done that... the gaseous injection in is much better.. ~my personal opinion~

yeah, I'm fairly convinced that with the cfm that this blower is going to be pushing, there's not any way to get an air to air intercooler to work with all the accessories and coolers I have on the car. There just isn't room. I was thinking of an air to water intercooler, but it doesn't look like there's space for that either. It looks like alky injection is going to be the only thing on my car for now.
