Theres a similar application for our early C4s. It is abouut the same as our K&N and cut lid. I wouldnt waste your money. Intakes dont do much for the C4....Well atleast the L-98. I may be wrong on this particular application though.

Thanks. I have another thread on how to easily feed some cold air from below to these filters . that would be beneficial. But I got them mainly cause I think they look cool and will contribute some unique sound along with my aftermarket exhaust. thanks.

this is a totally different thing than MR/SR
The Claw looks good and sounds good, but its not really a Cold air induction, and doesnt do much....certainly not enough to justify this expense.

Actually they do more for us than they do LT1. The one they sell for early C4 does help, and is a true CAI.

Vader is typically correct on things. I agree. But I just had to spend some money on a winter project I could handle... hehehehe

Save your money. Just keep your cut lid and K&N.
If you want more fancy, spend $20 and get some rubber PVC couplings from any hardware store, 3" radiator hose from a truck store and make your own.

Vader: I searched the SLP website and couldn't find a claw intake for the TPI setup, just LT1. Any idea where i could pick one up for my 85?

I have one, purchased used on eBay a couple years ago. Same as a
K & N filter W/cut lid. Save your money on a real mod (heads, headers,
cat back, cam, gears etc.)
O. K., it looks great but thats about it.
