L98 Blower Clearing FX3 Shock Actuators?

L98 Blower Clearing FX3 Shock Actuators?

I'm under the impression that the Carroll Vortech bracket and S-Trim barely clears, is that right?

Also, I'm under the impression that the P600B doesn't clear (hence my ATI C2 thread), correct?

The Powerdyne does not clear according to those that made up the Powerdyne bracket.

I'm not interested in hacking the hood as it's a 91 Z07, and someday might be considered somewhat rare (only year that Z51 and FX3 were combined as on the Challenge Cars etc), though I'd be fine modding the bracket if anyone has any experience?

Correct. P-600, P1, D1, etc do not clear the actuated shock.

Can anyone confirm that the Carroll/Blowerworks Bracket/Vortech SQ Trim combo clears the F3 Shock Actuators, without cutting the hood etc?

Doug, my L98 set-up was designed to clear FX3. My L98 set-up does not require notching hood; only my LT1/LT4 CW rotation kit notches hood. Hope that helps, Greg
