When I turn on or off the head lights I noticed the passenger side motor keep spinning for a few seconds after the door is fully closed or open. And the motor does not make the bad gear noise like my TA did before I replaced the plastic gears in both motors. My GM two GM shop books does not have any information about this problem.
Thanks
Sounds, to me, like the bushings are going bad. I didn't see a reason to replace the gears (no missing teeth, etc.), so, I just replaced the bushings. I cleaned everthing and used white lithium grease to lubricate them. Nowhere, could I find the proper type of grease to use inside that motor (actually, a gearbox). So, we'll see how long it lasts, if nothing else. So far, so good.
I posted my experiences (and frustrations) in another post here somewhere.

Thank you for the information. I did the gear replacement on our WS6 TA, at least on the LT4 Vette I do not have to glue the case back together. I ordered a new gear and bushings just in case both were bad as I only want to mess with this one time.
