I changet the oil every 4,000 to 5,000 miles. What other regular maintenence should I have done.

How often should I change my trans fluid, brake fluid, etc....

What I try to do on any car... Tranny fluid every 30k, brake fluid every 50k, coolant every 30k, power steering every 50k, etc. Some might be excessive, but I'd rather do it more often than not often enough.

If you're like me, and like quality in quantities, it takes forever to see those numbers, because it is spread out over three motor vehicles.

I like to change the coolant every two years, oil every three months(makes it easy because I do all three within the hour and only have to make one trip to the oil dump).

Tranny fluid should be changed after ten hard shifts(any gear), as suggested by my transmission rebuilder.

I change the power steering fluid(on the Vette, only one with it) everytime it looks old, same with the brake fluid.
