Engine light please read--
On my 2 hour trip TO Gainesville the service engine light came on about 30 minutes into the trip, about 20 minutes later it turned off by itself, on the 2 hour journey back, 2 days after, the light came back on about 30 minutes into the trip and stayed on, I will see if it comes back on tomorrow morning, but anyone got any ideas what malfunction it may be? Thanks! (Besides checking my engine :p: )

could be a Code 32, which is the EGR. Mine does the same exact thing on long highway trips. Ive tightened the gas cap, but i'll be making the drive this weekend and will see what happens.

I imagine it is code 32 EGR Usually caused by a heavily modified exhaust system... I dont know exactly what causes it though.... Mine does it often I need to find something nice like the covers they sell through magazines that isnt see through so I can hide all the engine codes

Try a shop manual?! Well worth the $$ although the factory shop manual is the best but more $$$. Jump the a and b pins on the aldl, turn the key on and check the flashes of the check engine light for the code-a 12 is normal, the rest are not.
