Well, mines an 87, but I've always had best luck with AC Delco, if you check their website you know you'll be getting the right plug.Funny, in the ole days it was always Champion for me.
Funny, in the ole days it was always Champion for me.
Never again will I use a champion plug in anything. The company I was working for last summer ordered a round of Champion plugs for use in their airplane engines. In total, it was over a thousand plugs. Every 15th or 20th plug failed almost immediately. Inspection showed flaws in the porcelain allowing the plug to arc internally instead of at the electrode. I'll never trust my engines to champion plugs again.
I use the AC Delco Standard 41-629 in my 86. Even standard plugs last so long these days it seems worth getting something fancy. Your milage may vary...........................
