Default Found a few ponies yesterday

Don't know where they came from.

My first run was 13.27@105.5 mph, not too shabby for a full tank of gas and a bunch of junk in the back.

My 2nd run was 13.39@ 108.18 mph. Where did that come from?
I haven't seen 108 since I removed my mufflers back in may 2000.

The slower et was due to the fact that I ran the right lane instead of the left lane, I seem to perform better in the left. To back up this point, in 1st round, I go up against Dave in his 95 Callaway, I was in the right lane and went 13.57@107mph. I don't know what the hell happened there, my 60' was on the mark, but from the 330 on, the car fell on it's face.
I was happy with the 107 mph, but not with the loss against Dave's almost perfect run.

It would be nice to know how I picked up 3 mph in about an hour or so of cool down time. My engine temp was about 10 degrees warmer than teh first run.

Everyone was having a wierd day. It got hotter and everyone was thinking they would slow down but got faster? If I didn't spin slightly on 2 runs I would have broke out. My MPH was around 109.31 to 109.84 for 7 runs and I let off one run not to break out with only 99Mph.

Rich...

Did you do exhaust work since the last time? I know you installed Long Tubes. The car was L O U D as it went down the track. Just curious. Wait'll it cools down... Low 12.8's or so I'd say.
