Default Knock sensor

Anyone have had trouble with shorty headers hitting the knock sensor, if so, what was the remedy, where did you reloate the sensor.

Before you thinkof moding the sensor, I would see i.f the headers leaned out your air fuel. that would cause the knock boy to go off quicker. If your fuel is ok you could purchase the lt-4 sensor which is less sensitive. you also could go past the 14lb torq.

I had a problem with the coolant temp sensor but not the knock sensor. since the knock sensor is screwed directly into the block and water jacket relocating it would be nearly impossible

Don't relocate it. The ESC electronics are tuned for the noise signature at that point in the block. Moving the sensor may cause excessive false retard, or a completely deaf system. Don't try to re-engineer something unless you have the equipment and data to tell you if it will work properly.
