interior light confusion

Default interior light confusion

I took out the GS today for a nice little ride. When I got home the interior lights wont go out....... I pulled and checked the trunk switch and sitting in the car closing the drivers,,,,then passenger doors you can hear the locks operating.....supposeing that the door switches are working................................. ........................................ ........
now what....THEY WONT GO OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I.m just going to unhook the battery for now....but what is the prob?????

looking for any and all help..

Lots of times the hatch switch breaks. I ended up unplugging it, lights don't stay on anymore and my alarm doesn't go off anymore at 3:00am.

Isn't there a timer relay in the circuit? I believe my 88 has one..........

Check the delay timer-I had the same problem with my 85. Solved it with the help of this forum.

Mine would do it if I used the key to unlock the door and didn't turn the key back to the straight up position. Good luck, Robert
