Tv Cable Ajust
Hey all,bought this one amost a year ago.Previous owner said she had the auto changed at 50k,now it has 100k on the clock.
The tranny always felt like it was never shifting exactly right.but never owning a Corvette,before I figured that's just the way it is,and that at another 50k,it's getting sloppy and ready for another POS 700 tranny.
Well ,I happen to see a thread by Pete K about adjusting the TV cable.
I did this simple adjustment,and I think I just got a new tranny for 1 minute of work,what a difference.It wouldn't suprise me a bit if someone has been told by many a tranny shop that they need a replacement,and charge them 2G's for nothing! My guess,is that it never was ajusted properly when the tranny was replaced.
