I use a Hurst Roll Control. I don't use it to stage, better off using the brakes.
The only special tool you need is a double flaring tool and some extra brake lines.

The Hurst kit is the most pricey, but it is complete except for a few various plugs and fittings you'll need. The install kit contains brake kines and the plugs and fittings you'll need.
Most tracks have a level starting line, so unless you have a big gust of wind, you shouldn't roll.
When I raced my six speed, I'd hold the brake till the second yellow and then switch to the gas and by the time that third yellow came on, I was all set.
Using the Line Loc to stage takes practice, I never did get the hang of it, you have to release at the exact time you launch.
