How hard is it to plumb a device to hold the front brakes during a burnout and after staging.

It's fairly easy. I'm using the Jegs line-lock kit.

I use a Hurst Roll Control. I don't use it to stage, better off using the brakes.

The only special tool you need is a double flaring tool and some extra brake lines.

Wiring is a snap once you figure out where you want to wire it.

The Hurst kit is the most pricey, but it is complete except for a few various plugs and fittings you'll need. The install kit contains brake kines and the plugs and fittings you'll need.

You can get it at Jegs or Summit.

Oddly enough, I can stage at Gateway without using the brake.

Most tracks have a level starting line, so unless you have a big gust of wind, you shouldn't roll.

When I raced my six speed, I'd hold the brake till the second yellow and then switch to the gas and by the time that third yellow came on, I was all set.

Using the Line Loc to stage takes practice, I never did get the hang of it, you have to release at the exact time you launch.
