Default What should I get???

What should I get next for my car. I got 200 dollars. My dad is buying me a sound system for christmas** and now were in the process of fixing my powersteering problem . Pretty much hes going to help me get it "running". Now I have some $$ to spend as I wish. I have 35% tint. I was thinking about getting limo tint. Saw it on Vader86s vette and it looks good. Hood vents I am still debating on that. Pillar gauges on the side *dual* would be nice. What do you guys think? Any suggestions. Basically what it comes down to, I am wanting to do something to make it really stand out. I am leanin towards the vents**my hood is going to be repainted already**. They look good and any way to cool the under engine compartment is helpful. Just trying to pin down something cool. Oh yea. I have Z-R1 rims**chrome** and exaust tips**chrome**. Thanks for the input.

Take the $200.00 and get it running before you put all that crap on it.

That was a figure of speech. It does drive fine except that stupid rack/pinion thing. I got everything else fixed FOR THE MOMENT.

How about fixing "that stupid rack/pinion thing"? Thru the woods to granny's house is no fun when you are trying to stay on the Interstate.

OOOOOOOOOK. That made no sense but oh yea. I said "in the process". Check my other thread. I checked with autozone. Core charge throw my pump in there and get that for like 40 dollars. I will check with a shop this week hopefully to find a used/rebuilt rack and pinion. Id rather not buy new if I can help it. Maybe I will luck out and find a rebuilt one.

Ahh. Your the 70 yr old man who tries to make up stuff to make me look like a jackass and get me banned. Your opinion does not really matter to me. Apparently your a known jerk......and this thread was not going as I had hoped for. I was meaning for suggestions on LOOK mods. But have at it you guys.

I don't have any great look mods on mine but I do really enjoy the few interior mods I did. Breadbox delete is a true joy. The DIC and power seat hole, I put covers on with the Corvette emblem, those look nice. All that and a new PS pump would be under the price cap.

I don't make stuff up and you seem to have the other part covered with no help needed.

DUCATS?

Man!! I haven't heard that term since the 70's.
Never did know what it was but always thought it was 'stacks' of money.
Guess it's some type of gold or silver monroney.
What country of origin uses these 'DUCATS'?
Has it been replaced by the 'Euro'?

Ducats, I love that term.

If I had a couple hundred of them 'ducats' I'd buy me some new floor mats and some of those little 'dealies' that go on the tail lights. One of them dash mats would fit that budget with the new floor mats and the tail light thingy's. Maybe one of those little plaques that cover up all those annoying lights on the DIC.
I covered mine up but I didn't have any lights coming on that shouldn't have come on.
There's LoT'S of trinkets you can buy for your Vette.
Get on Mid-America Corvette's mailing list and you'll be in like flint.
Click on some of the vendors on this site AND go to the mall right here and you can find ALL KINDS of toys for your toy.

Black 86, watch it about attacking us old guys, you attack one of us and you attack the whole trailor park.
Just 'yoking', have fun getting your toys for yer Vette.

You might have better luck in C4 General.

How about a set of Pace Car decals. It is an 86 right?

Or the external "Lemans" style gas cap?

Both of these items run a bit higher than your budget, but what's an extra $79.99

FYI-- Lincoln was shot and killed at a theatre. The joke part is "other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?" I think he's pointing out that getting the car running the way it should is the most important thing.
